Good morning/noon/afternoon/night ya’ll,
I hope the weekend was good for everyone! Today I am going to be talking about the reading “A video game about a child’s battle with cancer shows gaming’s newer deeper directions”.
Near the beginning of this article you are introduced to the video call That Dragon, Cancer. This is a game that is a real-life story about this family that has a child who has cancer at the age of one. This family through the game is at the hospital and as the gamer you go through different stages with the family. I am not a huge gamer myself, but I have watched my fair share of games that my brother plays. These games are usually NBA2K15 or FIFA or COD. What I thought was interesting about That Dragon, Cancer was the concept of this game. This game is almost like a story book, but it is something you are involved in. This kind of game could be entertaining for anyone who enjoys a good story but also the concept for video games. It is important to be able to involve a wide variety of people in the production of video games.
