"After You"
I thought this was a cute little film, and it did not take much for it to get that way. The interesting thing about these types of short films, I think, is that they are done in the simplest forms, and that simplicity can have the most meaning. In reading The Fool's Errand, I realized that full length films don't have to be the only "good movies" out there. Just Yes, they are longer, but short films receive just as much effort and care, just in a smaller amount of time. And that time is spent less on developing a story and more on getting to know the characters in "After You".
I really liked "After You". It was funny and may be my favorite that we have seen in class so far. It tells me exactly what can be done with simple techniques.
