Music videos, a movies to the music that artist came up with
for us to watch (if you don’t understand it you don’t understand the aRT!!!).
But after watching the music videos that we did in class it
hit me, what the hell happened to music that are coming out now? Why are most
of them, well boring? Ads for something I don’t have the money or the heart to
buy? Why do they all seem to be the same? Music videos now are like ads for
pointless things or just a reminding of how cool or rich that person is now and
really nothing about a message or story.
In my getting to know me blog, I said one of my favorite YouTube
channels to watch was cinemasins (which you should watch because their fun),
but they had a child channel kind of called Music Video Sins, with is almost as
good only too short for me to fully enjoy the same what the video one does. I’ll
leave some links and after you watch them, notice if you can tell what their
getting at in their nitpicking? How many of those videos just become ads and
don’t seem to feel the same like the music videos we watch like class?
