Growing up, I did not have a large library of video games, nor did I have the opportunity to play them often. I am not really of fan of shooting games (except NBA 2K!). As for as the Wii sports games go, I would rather actually play a sport the than to play it on a TV screen. My favorite games were always the world building ones, and those were the games I spent the most time. I remember playing Sims with my cousin whenever we met up and we would enjoy refurbish houses for our Sim characters to live in. I like Sims, but my favorite world-building computer game is Roller Coaster Tycoon 3. Often times I would create themed-areas with different genres like sci-fi or western, sort of like Disneyland. And other times I would just build roller coasters so intense that I had to force guests to ride them against their will. I think Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 is not only an entertaining pastime, but also an educational experience. Playing the game I learned about management, design, and physics. Learning is a lot more enjoyable when I get to participate in a world-building game.
