Let me tell you why Inception is so friggin awesome. Just
cause it is. Just kidding, here are the real reasons. First of all, Christopher
Nolan put twelve years of thought into this film. Granted a guy like Spongebob
could probably put twelve years of thought into a movie and it would end up
turning out like complete garbage, but that’s beside the point. Christopher
Nolan is not Spongebob. The world of dreams is a complicated place so it makes
sense that it would take so much time to create such an insane world. Second of
all, Inception is chock full of visually breathtaking imagery. Probably one of
the most memorable shots of the whole film is when inside a dream, Ariadne
folds an entire city over on itself to create a perfectly mirrored image. That
point in the movie is where the audience gets to see how epic creating the
dream world really is. Third of all (I’m gonna stop listing since this will
probably be a very long list), the world that Nolan creates is so intricate and
deep that even after approximately eighty viewings (yes that isn’t an over
exaggerated guess) I find myself still mind blown by the complexity that Nolan
brings to the film. Even in the most recent viewing of the film, I learned
something new that I hadn’t noticed before.
There will be a second part to this post.
Also, here’s a fan made trailer that I made for the
movie. Hope you enjoy.
