Beautiful Chaos

There are so many things amazing about the Johnny Cash project, and I can not believe that I had never even heard about until class the other day.  After watching Hurt I basically felt like crap because here is this amazing artist that did amazing things, one of the greatest music legends of all time, and he’s basically saying what’s it worth? Ouch.  If he thought his life was meaningless, which is probably not the right word, but, then what the heck is mine? Then we talked about the project though, and I felt much better.  It was just really moving to see all these extremely different people come together and create something beautiful in memory of him.  The person that started this must of had so much trust because I’m much too controlling.  I would not have been able to do it, and it’s just great that something so beautiful came out of something that was so unregulated.  It was the fact that is was pretty much unrestricted that made the possibilities limitless, yet there was still a vision. I just loved it.  It was such a unique and graceful way to honor him.  I think that if it were almost anyone else but him it would not have turned out as inspiring as it did.
