Anyways, I kind of have a new love for documentaries. In class the last couple of days the documentaries we have watched about/talked about have been unique. I have never thought about how much a documentary could mean to someone. In the assigned reading, Olinger and Branham said they try to return the films to the communities and do it in a way we feel honors people. And today when we were watching the films about the documentaries, the love for the films that people had really stood out to me. When they say they give them back to the community to honor people, it makes me think of Super Size me and the educational side of that. I already blogged about that, so I will not talk about it for too long. But, I find that heart warming that documentaries have that effect on individuals.
Some of the documentaries that were mentioned in the film today, I plan on watching. Going into this week of digital media, I did not think that I even had a slightest love for documentaries and now I really find them interesting and continuing to grow in the passion with documentaries.
