ElizabethOlson DMA 115 INTRO

Hello everyone! 

I'm Elizabeth Olson and I'm a freshman this year at HU. I grew up in Racine, Wisconsin. It's an average sized city about two hours north of Chicago, thirty minutes south of Milwaukee, and right on lake Michigan. The only thing it’s really known for is being the headquarters of S.C. Johnson. So you can thank Racine for your Ziploc and Off.

 I am currently majoring in Animation and having a pretty good time so far. I chose Animation because I love creating art (sketching and painting) and I love watching animation. (Some of my favorite shows being Gravity Falls, Over the Garden Wall, Fullmetal Alchemist, Trigun, Paranoia Agent, Justice League, Animaniacs, etc.) However, one of the biggest reasons I chose Animation is because (and I know many people have written this already, but its true so…) I love storytelling, particularly when it uses a visual medium. I watch TV shows. I read comic books (and manga.) I enjoy watching and performing theater productions. Most of the music I listen to revolves around a story such as musical music and soundtracks. I can’t wait to create my own stories to add to the mix.
