"Chaos vs Control"

 I've really enjoyed discussing both comedy and tragedy in class. It's interesting to me how they aren't really separate things, but you sort of have to have one to have the other. You can't really know you are sad unless you've been happy before, and vice versa. 

Now I'm hoping I don't get too far off topic here, but.... something I found interesting was that people are addicted to control. They want control of God by stripping Him of emotions so He can be safe and predictable. They want control of their circumstances, to avoid tragedy and pain. They want control of others so they are never offended or challenged. This love of control is almost comical in and of itself, when one realizes just how helpless and small we as humans are.
