In light of the discussion topic of why choreographed dance videos become popular on the internet, here is a list of all of those phases of pop culture dance moves that (admit it) you've tried at least once in front of a camera in your basement. Or even at some school dances that you always jumped into the line dance action with friends but now slam your palm to your face in embarrassment because of the shame. Or you're completely down for another round of college boogieing. Here we go.

Probably still holds the highest rate of views on youtube to this day. This is why we don't talk about the high school dances after the year 2012...

Anyone who was a preteen female during the time around 2007 and was aware of anime of any sort has imitated this dance. Conventions in public back when it was cool to say "kawaii" and "nyan" to your friends and in your room with a grey digital camera surrounded by your My Chemical Romance posters and your DeviantArt page open on your computer in the background...cringe...

Entering more line dancing...Easiest song to dance to, everyone knew the dance, it was played at everyone of them...well, the censored version that is. Childhood only semi ruined by the reference of adultery. At least the cheesy early 2000's/ late 1990's haircuts are entertaining to look at.


To see choreographed dance moves on video is always a good time. If it's to a catchy song or to something memorable, the more likely we are to copy those moves. I know there are probably dozens that i have missed, but if i were to cover them all then it would take all the energy out that i need for term papers. Enjoy the memories.
