Ok, so this is going back to the video games topic! I used to play video games a lot when I was younger, not games like halo and such, but Mario brothers and animal crossing (that was a daily devotion way back when); but now I don't really touch them.
Recently, or I guess more recently, I bought this game called Limbo on my iPod. The graphics were beautifully intriguing and for that reason alone I wanted to play it. The point of the game is basically that you are controlling a young boy, whom of which you have no idea who he is, and the only thing you know is that he is searching for girl (some people say his sister, but theres no context so who knows). Its a very strange game though, because you are walking through a shadow like forest called "The edge of Hell" trying to make it past obstacles and avoiding giant spiders and other lost boys who are trying to kill you. I think the main idea is that there's a boy stuck in purgatory or something of the sort, and he's trying to find this girl but he doesn't know why. Its actually a subtly dark game. The boy dies in many grotesque ways before the game reverts back to your starting point, and you come upon hanging bodies, drowned bodies in the lake, and road kill quite often; though all of it is in shadow form.
SPOILER ALERT
When you complete the final obstacle of the game, the boy is thrown into a pane and then lands back into the forest where he started. And then, just like the beginning, he sees a girl sitting down, and upon startling her, she gets up and runs away. Then it goes black.
So pretty interesting. I'd recommend it. Play it if you want to.
