Personally the process of the flashbacks with different preconceptions sounds interesting and I wish that we would see more of that kind of design. Unfortunately when he was almost done with the game Joel died and he had to change the whole ending of the game. "there’s a lot of baggage that comes with this idea of games". I can't imagine the emotions that went through his head when making this game about his son. When they first started out they had no money to create this but his team rounded up one hundred thousand dollars to create this master peace it's not like most games it is something that is in it's own category.

Dragon Cancer
After I read That Dragon Cancer it got me thinking about how much struggle it was to actually make that film. Just think the whole time that you are making this game it is bringing back memories of your kid. The game pulls on emotion and gathers your attention with the whole system of flashbacks. I am personally shocked that you don't see that kind of unique design. Also the amount of money it made for being a ten dollar game is phenomenal. when you compare it to any triple AAA game.
