The Man Who Inspired Me

The Man Who Planted the Trees really inspired me. I was really moved by the creative animation and the story line. What really got me was how the story was about making something old and worn full of life and giving it a new purpose.

One of my favorite lines from the film was, "Man can be just as affective as God in doing things other than evil." For me, that line was really cool because it really made me think. Can man truly do good things and be just as affective as God? In short, yes.

Can man be as magnificent as God in his creation? Not exactly, but the good we can do can have just the same result. To me, with God working through us, we can accomplish anything to benefit society. When we set our minds on it and follow what we believe is right, doors usually become open and people's lives are changed.

After watching the film, I definitely have the desire to go out and help people in the way the main character did. Maybe not planting trees, but investing my time in other people's lives and not just focusing on myself.
