The Man Who Grew An Entire Forest

Can we all take a moment to appreciate this film? The Man Who Grew Trees is possible one of the sweetest films i have ever seen. The art style is really different in the way that it looks like it was sketched out with charcoal and a thick woodless graphite pencil. There was always a sense of motion with this film and at some parts the way the backgrounds were drawn kind of reminded me of Monet in a way.

The story is also really sweet and showed something that i think is important. It shows that one person can make a big difference. From just planting trees alone, this old man was able to restore the environment of a wasteland back to a vast green fruitful forest. Restored the old buildings, brought in new families to stay in said buildings and restored life in this one little area. Things like this bring me hope in thinking that every little thing that we do on this planet makes a difference. Sometimes a really good difference! Plus it has beautiful animation to boot!

Anyways, the lesson that i took away from this is that everyone has the potential to make a difference. Those with the passion and determination to make a change can do so and that it is all a part of God's great plan in making this (Earth) a better place to live in for his divine creation!

Just know that you have the ability to make a great change when you have God on your side! :)
