As you can see, my name is Tayler Rustin. I grew up with three younger siblings in West Michigan and was homeschooled through graduation. If I wasn't majoring in Film Production, I would probably be in Journalism or Chemistry. My main fascination with film is how much the camera positioning and lighting colors and intensities tell the story. I am a storyteller. Isn't that what we all are?
Believe it or not, I was involved in extracurricular activities in high school. I played basketball, was part of a swing dance group, and was crew captain for three theater productions. It was theater that really brought about an interest in film. (The picture is me running lights for Our Town.) I also taught Chem Lab my senior year. Non-film interests include, but are not limited to: calligraphy; piano; guitar; ancient Greece; being outside; and homework. I also already have a blog, which you can visit if you want. There are mostly movie reviews up right now, with one television show thrown in. My favorite show is Doctor Who, favorite villains the Daleks, favorite book is Les Miserables, and favorite food is salsa.
