How do we get Truth out as artists?

(we talked about this briefly in class, but I thought it was worth talking about)

Here's a question for you:

How can we, as artists, through our creativity in our art, tell people in our secular world about absolute Truth? Or at least prod people to ask questions regarding Truth?

I use capitalized "Truth" to refer to what is ultimately true. For me that also means the Christian Truth, which I believe holds up to criticism and has enough evidence that I can rightfully hold it as a core belief in what I think the world is like. Others would disagree, and have some other idea of what they believe is true. That's great that they have a worldview, but apologetics are not what I wanted to discuss in this post.

A problem that we encounter today in society is that either people believe that truth is relative to each person, thus making one thing "true" for ME, and such-and-such "true" for YOU, or people will so afraid to be wrong, that they won't even ask questions regarding truth. Nobody likes to be wrong. I certainly don't, but I still like to contemplate whether I'm right or not. Beliefs SHOULD be challenged! (yes, that includes YOUR beliefs too.) We should ask ourselves the big questions, because the better we know truth, the better we can inform and debate others on what's true.

If through our sketches, paintings, stories, videos, and animations, we can make people really think and ask questions, that can be a powerful and beautiful thing! So often we watch things just for the sake of entertainment, and there's nothing wrong with that, but we often lack substance in our thoughts when we do so.

I'd like to reach out to people and at least make them question Truth and reality through what I make. I think we can use art and entertainment to really teach people, in fact I challenge you to do so.

Thanks for reading! And God Bless!
