Breanna Levings

Hello, I am Breanna Levings (the shorter one in the picture) and I am very outgoing and have participated in volleyball for the past 7 years for my middle school, high school, and at Team Indiana: a travel volleyball club. I will be playing volleyball at Huntington University this year and love to be fit and healthy. I love to get out and enjoy outside as much as possible, so some of my favorite activities are water tubing, playing sand volleyball, and having cookouts with families. I also am a freshman and plan to study nursing and would like to specialize in pediatrics eventually. I love to help others and could not picture myself doing any other career. Therefore, I love Grey's Anatomy and I am trying to catch up, which seems nearly impossible. I am an animal lover as well, but especially cats. I really like to be organized and I feel like my life is extremely chaotic without neatness.
I went to Franklin Central High School which is a pretty big school, so I am very excited to start my journey at a small school and grow spiritually here at Huntington University. I have Celiac Disease which for those of you that are not familiar with this, it could also be known as Gluten Free. Some first thoughts could be that it seems awful, but it is easier than you think. Kind of forces you to be healthy and it is also like you are on a really strict diet. Having this disease limits me from having wheat, barley, and rye. Some examples of food I can not have would be cake, cookies, bread, spaghetti, soy sauce, and breaded anything. So, that is another reason why nursing interests me because nurses have impacted and influenced my life so many times here recently. I would like to make a difference on someone else's life like the nurses who have made a difference on mine. I live in Indianapolis Indiana which is about two hours away from Huntington University so, it is pretty doable and a very reasonable distance. There is a little bit about me and I can not wait to get to know a little bit about each and everyone of you.
