Aaron Mattson

Hi everyone, my name is Aaron Mattson. I am from West Allis, Wisconsin (it's in the Milwaukee area, if that helps). I am a Film Production major. My favorite types of films are the mind-blowing-holy-cow-what-did-I-just-watch-I-need-to-watch-this-twenty-more-times kind. Some examples of this are the movies Predestination, Deja Vu, Interstellar, and of course, Inception (my all-time favorite). I really like to write, whether it be scripts or short stories or novels (granted I've never written a full length novel, but that's beside the point). My favorite part about filmmaking is the editing process because that where the movie magic happens. That's where all the little puzzle pieces fit together to form the big picture of the movie on screen. I mean, I like directing and the filming process as well, but just not as much. My dad is a huge movie lover so he started introducing me to the awesomeness of movies at an early age. Ever since middle school, though, I've been making my own videos, gradually working my way to incorporating story and special effects into my work. Well, that’s all for now, folks.
