Creepy

Hello,
Hope everyones day is going great. Weather was awful today.
Anyways, in class today we watched some rather interesting films. They were a bit disturbing to me and I seemed to be on edge while watching them. They definitely did not sit well with me as I was walking out of the classroom. They seemed to haunt me like I was watching a scary movie. It is perfect timing since Halloween is this weekend.
The film I would like to talk about and put more emphasis on would be the film The Street.
When The Street first came up and Professor Leeper was talking about it, I seemed to find it appalling to even talk about the topic of wanting a family member to die. I was like oh my, but as I was watching it my mind set and attitude changed. I realized that it was a good film because it brought out the worst and best in people. Seeing the family cope together shows the best out of someone and coming together. The worst came out when the little boy was being selfish and wanted the room so he wished upon the worst of his grandma's health.
I personally think that this film would not be suitable for younger children. Just because of the content of the film it seems kind of brutal and harsh. But on the other hand, I think that it proves a good point and teaches a lesson to us. Overall, I feel kind of iffy about this film and wish I could watch it one more time to think through things more as I was watching it.
